Midweek dinner just got an upgrade!
Our Swedish-style meatballs meet a rich passata sauce with garlic, chilli, cherry tomatoes, and fresh flat-leaf parsley.
It’s quick, it’s easy, and it’s bursting with flavour. What’s your go-to midweek meal?
For the pasta sauce:
Passata
Chopped cherry tomatoes
Garlic
Chilli flakes
Mixed dried herbs
Chopped fresh parsley
Start by browning the meatballs in a deep frying pan.
Then remove them and drain the fat (if you like)
Then in the same pan make the sauce by frying the chopped garlic for a few seconds, then adding in all the other ingredients apart from the fresh parsley.
Pop the meatballs back in the sauce.
Simmer until the sauce thickens and flavours merge
Sprinkle the fresh parsley on top
Serve with your favourite pasta
