Speciality Breads are the artisan bakers to the food service industry. The only bakery to be fully Red Tractor accredited with all their wheat coming from British farms. Many breads are hand finished and over 60 are registered with The Vegan Society.
Based in our Margate bakery, we distribute our products via a UK-wide network of wholesalers and partners. Our varied, high-quality breads provide the perfect solution for pubs, restaurants, caterers, cafes and the wider foodservice sector.
Our NPD team are tireless in scouring the world to keep up with the latest trends, techniques and styles to ensure our range cannot be surpassed when it comes to choice, flavour and most of all quality. Our ciabatta and brioche products hold the “Approved Product” endorsement from the Craft Guild of Chefs.
Our products are easily stored and only need to be defrosted an hour before they are required – thus also helping to alleviate waste.
We only use 100% British flour, made with wheat sourced from UK farmers. We operate to BRC Global Standards right across our organisation. And we’ve been awarded the Red Tractor quality mark for affordable, traceable, ethical and sustainable authentic bread.
An environmental focus has influenced our future and growing sustainably has affected our plans. We’re working towards becoming a B-Corp, having an entirely Vegan certified range, and becoming carbon neutral. These projects take time and dedication, but sustainable practices are more important than ever.
