Stepstone Imaging Portfolio shoot for Fresh Eric’s Cakes Co. Ltd

These would be showcased on their website and across social media platforms to help promote their business to existing and potential customers.

A brief was discussed and prepared - we were to create images that were as close as possible to the images already on the website.

Following a review of the existing images, a list of items, props, and backdrops was formulated along with some additional ideas for the social media work - we then needed to add some complimentary food items and props. Once these items were sourced we were good to go.

The cakes were shipped to us and we set up the shoot under artificial lighting in our studio.

Having a brief saves so much time, anguish and the worry of a re-shoot. The work was done in one long day going through the shot list and shooting in between creating the sets for each product.

Creating that all important look for Fresh Eric’s brand, style and story. It was great to see the finished images and to get some really positive feedback from another satisfied client.

And yes, the cakes were yummy!

Fresh Eric’s is a bakery based in Orpington. They bake cakes, tarts, puddings, muffins and traybakes using superior ingredients, from scratch, by hand. They focus on classic recipes and supply coffee shops, restaurants, cafes, caterers, garden centres and other food businesses in and around London and the South East.
