Solley’s Ice Cream, the South East’s leading ice cream producer, has unveiled a full rebrand including their ranges for both retail and foodservice. The on-site Ice Cream Parlour has also undergone a total refurbishment, including new roof and complete interior redesign.
The new design brings a more modern look to the brand, whilst incorporating important elements of the Solley’s story. The updated branding will also give a stronger on-shelf presence to Solley’s Ice Cream, with bright, engaging colour palette and fun illustrations, paired with clear key information.
Keith Morrison, Managing Director of Solley’s Ice Cream comments “We are delighted to share the new look for Solley’s Ice Cream. Over recent years our focus has been in brand awareness, product development and growth of the visitor side of our business, and we are thrilled to now have a brand which reflects both the quality of product and showcases all Solley’s has to offer.” He continues “We are proudly a family business, and hope that the new look for Solley’s will not only cement our position as a leading independent brand, but also allow us to compete with some of the larger names, especially on a local level.”
Solley’s produce ice cream on site at their farm in Ripple, near Deal, with approximately 85% of the base ingredients being sourced locally – including milk coming directly from their neighbouring farm. The ice cream is produced in small batches of 600L in over 20 different flavours which are available in 750ml tubs, 120ml single serve cups and 4.75L napolis for scooping.
The ice cream is supplied to stockists throughout Kent, including independent farm shops and retail outlets, local visitor attractions, cafés, restaurants, and most recently has been taken on by the Southern Co-op as part of their “Local flavours” initiative. The ice cream is also available direct from the farm gate, with Solley’s Ice Cream Parlour being open to visitors daily throughout the summer months, and a year-round home delivery service runs throughout Kent.
