Butcher's Block awarded 2 AA Rosettes

We were super pleased to receive an email confirmation along, with our very special plate to showcase being awarded a 2 AA Rosette.

The chefs have been working so hard to achieve this and all their hard work has paid off.

Head chef Ray Clear has dreamt of this day since stepping into a kitchen at the tender age of 15, so we are delighted for him, for leading the kitchen team to produce the menus and high quality food that have got us here, as well as the recognition he deserves for himself.

It’s about the overall experience, and the front of house waiting team must get a special mention for all their hard work too, including Tammy Leaman and Kirsty Briley for heading up the Block team.

As a business and owners, we are very proud of all our staff's consistent hard work, this is a huge recognition for them as well as us.

To top off the week we have yet again retained our 5* food hygiene rating so all in all, it's been a pretty good week at The Block!
