We are so excited to share that our bestseller The Umami One: Pickled Mushrooms were awarded a star at this year's Guild of Fine Food Great Taste awards! The judges "enjoyed the firm succulent texture of the mushroom (not a hint of slime!)", found "the balance excellent and the soy sauce is of obviously good quality" and thought "the end note of chilli is punchy and leaves a good tingle in the mouth"!
We take fresh shiitake, enoki and oyster mushrooms and pickle them in ginger, chilli and soy. Fantastic hot or cold, they make a great flavour burst in salads, on rice or noodle dishes or on an antipasti platter!
