An update from Home Gurr'own

This year has been a very difficult year for many businesses, not least the wedding industry. But we have tried our very best to be upbeat, focusing on the positives rather than dwelling on the negatives.

For many of our wedding couples, it has been a chance to reflect on their ‘big day’ and appreciate what is most important to them. We have been overwhelmed by how kind and understanding our couples have been, with many people sadly having to change their wedding date numerous times.

We’ve had the opportunity to speak to people in our industry (old and new friends) and begin talks for exciting collaborations for 2021. From ‘Dinner Parties Delivered’ to ‘Cookery Classes’ and even ‘Yoga Days’, we have not been resting on our laurels!

That said, we must confess that we have also really enjoyed being at home. Of course at Home Gurr’own we are incredibly fortunate to live and work in such a beautiful setting, but are usually rushing around too busy to stop and remember how lucky we are, and see how special the farm and our business really is.

2021 is looking busier than ever for us and we can’t wait to see you all (in person!) and get started. So from all of us at Home Gurr’own, we wish you and all your families very Happy Christmas.
