A TrAle is a walk with beer. Enjoy East Kent's culture and beers with our local guides.

Join us as we stroll through town and city streets, uncovering some of East Kent’s history, quirks, and hidden gems, all while enjoying a curated selection of refreshing Craft beers and Real ales.

Whether you’re a history buff or simply seeking a delightful experience in Canterbury, Deal or Dover, TrAles promises an unforgettable blend of culture with Real ales and Craft beers. All TrAles start and end close to Public Transport, so “hop” on a train or bus to go green and stop the argument on who will be the designated driver!

Our tours generally cover between 3 and 5 miles, walking a relatively brisk pace but with lots of time to chat over some fine beers and to take in some local history. Beers are an essential component of a TrAle and these will be curated to showcase the variety of traditional and craft beers brewed in Kent. At each of 5 stops you’ll be offered up to 2 x 1/2pt or 3 x 1/3pt of different ales/beers and hopefully you’ll get to try something new. For non-beer drinkers in your party, we can organise alternative beverages. The TrAles also include a light lunch with the exception of our Taster TrAles.

Due to the nature of beer ingredients, this TrAle is NOT suitable for anyone with a GLUTEN intolerance. Our walks take place on pavements, tracks, uneven surfaces and sometimes have a climb. If this presents mobility issues for you, we will not be able to accommodate you at this time.

If this has piqued your interest, more details on each TrAle can be found on our website. We hope you will join us on a journey of discovery and indulgence where every step tells a story, and every sip adds to the adventure.

Cheers to walking, beer, and unforgettable memories!
