We are a microbrewery producing a range of cask conditioned and bottled ales using traditional methods and Kent hops.
Goodys ales have a distinctive flavour produced by our blend of Kent hops and unique yeast culture which we nurture between brews lovingly. Our water for brewing is heated by ‘the Beast’, our wood burning boiler using logs from our sustainably managed woodland.
Our regular beers include:
Genesis (ABV 3.5%) - a dark ruby coloured hoppy ale with a full flavour and lasting bitter finish
Good Health (ABV 3.6%) – a honey coloured, golden ale with a fresh hoppy finish and undertone of zesty orange peel
Good Heavens (ABV 4.1%) – amber coloured, hoppy pale ale made with Pilgrim hops
Good Sheppard (ABV 4.5%) – deep amber ale with a vanilla twist on the palate and a soft feel on the tongue
Good Lord (5% ABV) – rich, medium-full bodied porter with a smooth roasted coffee tinge and silky bitter finish – available in winter months.
