Welcome to Detling Community Store! We are a non-profit grocery store, coffee shop and post office. We are open 7 days a week; you will be sure to get a warm welcome from our full-time manager Lou and our friendly band of volunteers.
We love local and are proud to be able to source many of our goods in Kent. As well as normal everyday essential items and refillables, we stock a wide range of locally produced fare, including meat, fruit and veg, ice cream, pastries, breads, biddenden wines, beers, pickles and jams! We can even help you smell good too, with our lovely Kentish soaps and bubbles.
Nestled on the North Downs, our coffee shop is a perfect stopping off point for walkers, cyclists and local residents to enjoy a coffee and a homemade sweet treat outside, whilst enjoying the views over the Weald. Why not come in and try one of our famous Detling doorsteps?
