Brogdale Collections is a charity working to provide access and education about the National Fruit Collection to the public. With events, over 3000 varieties of fruit trees, guided tours & rural courses - there really is something for everyone!
Brogdale Collections is the home of the National Fruit Collection set in over 150 acres of farmland, Brogdale Collections has over 3000 varieties of fruit trees from apples, pears, quinces, and plums to cherries and more. The Collections orchards are a living history & a heritage of fruit waiting to be discovered.
Let our expert knowledgeable guides take you on a journey around the orchards on a guided tour. Explore the orchards from beautiful blossom to bountiful fruit laden trees. Your guide will answer your questions and awaken your taste buds with over 3,000 different varieties you will never be short of something to see.
Guided tours run at 11am, 1pm and 2:30pm six days a week throughout the open season (April – October) and self-guided tours can be taken throughout the year at any time. Why not discover the orchards on one of the regular Tractor Trailer tours, led by expert guides and suitable for visitors with mobility requirements.
Fruit Festivals & Events at Brogdale are packed full of family fun, free talks & demonstrations, fruit tastings, yummy food, crafts and much more! Discover everything from Easter Egg trails, to PYO weekends; you can even enjoy the bountiful apple crops at Brogdale Collections 2-day Cider Festival packed full of local music and artisan food & drinks. There plenty of things to do & discover, plus fun for all the family!

Alongside this Brogdale Collections offer a range of rural courses and education including fruit tree grafting and pruning courses, wild food foraging, cider making, and orchard design.
Pet-friendly note: All dogs are welcome to visit our full summer of festivals including our exciting Cider festival. They can enjoy all the fun and merriment of the festivals and the marketplace, but dogs cannot enter the orchards or join the orchards tours.
Your Orchard Pass ticket lasts a whole year enabling you to visit as many times as you want. Orchard pass holders can enjoy unlimited walks, tours and tractor tours (in season) plus enjoy the special plum fruit days. Go to brogdalecolltions.org to find out more.
