Set on a 500-acre historic estate, managed regeneratively and located just an hour from London, Bore Place’s emphasis is on organic farming and sustainable land stewardship. It is dedicated to helping people lead happy, fulfilling, and environmentally conscious lives.
Open to the public year-round, the Bore Place estate features marked walking trails, free parking, and state-of-the-art vending machines offering farm-fresh produce. Visitors can also learn about regenerative farming and witness the daily milking of our cows.
The estate provides a variety of accommodation options, catering to both small and large groups, retreats, and corporate off-sites. With capacity for up to 65 guests across the premises, Bore Place is an ideal venue for group stays. The chef prepares delicious meals using organic ingredients, either grown on the estate or sourced from like-minded local producers.
Bore Place is home to the Commonwork Trust, a charity dedicated to fostering restorative and regenerative change through education and inspiration, hosting a wide array of community events, from foraging workshops and chutney-making classes to activities focused on increasing environmental awareness. The charity actively engages the public in biodiversity efforts, such as its regular bioblitz events. Additionally, it offers a comprehensive educational programme aimed at young people, encouraging the next generation to engage with sustainability and conservation.
