Doubleday wine bottle

Our traditional family method for making fortified cherry wine uses Kentish morello cherries that are wild fermented and then fortified with a neutral spirit. Enjoy with cheese and dessert, as an aperitif, or as a long drink with soda water and ice.

Our Fruit Growing

All of our cherry wine is produced from the morello cherries grown on our farm in the North of Kent.

Known as the North Kent Fruit Belt, the region has a longstanding reputation for its excellent soils and advantageous climate that together produce some of the country’s highest quality fruit and wines.

Doubleday Cherry Wine continues a long tradition of fruit growing in this area, striving to be innovative in our approach whilst never compromising the quality of our fruit.

Our Wine Making

We have taken a generations old recipe and refined the method to produce an original wine which celebrates the wonderful depth and flavour of the Kentish cherry.

Our cherry wine is made to the highest standard, resulting in a drinking experience which balances cherry sweetness with morello acidity in harmony. We are proud to present our unique wine which showcases the best in local fruit growing and innovation in modern English winemaking.
