A new calendar has been produced dedicated to Kent wineries and their dogs.
WINE DOGS OF KENT 2025 is due for release on 1st September 2024.
The A4 limited edition calendar, celebrates twelve vineyards from Kent and their beloved dogs.
The photos, taken by professional photographer Glen London from Whitstable, capture the beauty of them both. Jackie Brown who came up the idea, has been in the wine trade for 20 years and now lives in Kent, felt the synergy between the two subjects was irresistible.
“A love of all things canine and local wine estates seemed like a natural pairing to celebrate- you can’t have one without the other here in Kent it seems” says Jackie.
The twelve estates were signed up in Spring and photography started in May.
“The weather was incredibly kind to us on those shoot days luckily and each estate and their dog brought so much unique character to every photo, it really was a fun project to create!”
The vineyards range from Taste of Kent award winners Wayfarer and Woodchurch to Produced in Kent members Woolton Farm, Meophams and Terlingham.
£1 from the sale of every calendar printed will be donated to NSARDA Kent (The National Search and Rescue Dog Association in Kent) by the end of January 2025.
There is also the exciting chance to win a case of wine – one lucky calendar contains a “golden ticket” – when it’s found inside each individually wrapped calendar, that person will receive a 12 bottle case made up of a bottle from each participating vineyard. Watch out for the golden ticket and follow the instructions!
The calendars will be on sale at all twelve of the participating vineyards as well as local retailers across Kent including The Offy and The Horsebridge Centre in Whitstable and Macknade in Faversham*. The RRP is £12.
