(And there are even sweeter treats inside…)
This Christmas, Fudge Kitchen is bringing an extra touch of magic to Canterbury unveiling its first Christmas window.
The specially designed display by UK artist Cadell Lockington of Studio Lockington, celebrates Canterbury and highlights the beauty of the city alongside seasonal decorations and the artisan flavours that Fudge Kitchen is known for.
As part of a wider celebration spanning six of its locations across the UK, Fudge Kitchen’s “See the Sights, Taste the Delights” campaign is captivating holiday shoppers, inviting them to explore the local flavour – both in the scenes outside and the delicious treats within.
Set against a festive backdrop, each design encourages visitors to savour the charm of Canterbury this holiday season with tributes to Canterbury Cathedral, The River Stour
The Westgate Towers and Canterbury Cathedral Gate depicted in the scene alongside mistletoe, baubles, a ‘nice’ list and Santa’s sack full of fudge delights, all brought together to celebrate the theatre of handmade fudge.
The perfect stop off for visitors coming to the city for the lights switch on and Christmas market, Fudge Kitchen invites people to stop for a window selfie and step inside to try it’s delicious treats. The window design will be judged as part of the annual competition on Saturday 6 December and will be part of the city’s Christmas Window Trail.
A first for Fudge Kitchen, which has been part of the Canterbury community for over thirty years, each celebratory display brings a sense of local pride and holiday warmth. The display is a part of Fudge Kitchen’s commitment to supporting local tourism and culture.
Katy Towse, Marketing Strategist at Fudge Kitchen, who’s been managing the design and execution of the displays, comments: "Our festive windows are designed to celebrate and showcase all the individual elements that make Fudge Kitchen, and the cities they were born from, special. Our shops have always been at the heart of their wonderful cities. We wanted to celebrate that this year while spreading a bit of Christmas joy and inviting more shoppers into store to experience everything Fudge Kitchen has to offer over the festive period.”
Shoppers will discover exclusive seasonal fudge flavours that make for the perfect holiday gift, while enjoying complimentary samples and in-store entertainment.
