Braving the elements for a brilliant MEET THE EXPERTS at Hever Castle!

Despite the rain yesterday — when boats felt more suitable than cars — we had a fantastic turnout for the latest Produced in Kent Meet the Expert Day at the stunning Hever Castle.

Our expert retail buyers, ASHLEY COLLINS from Hever Castle and Lucy Elliston from the National Trust, shared valuable insights into what they look for in suppliers, the importance of honest and transparent sourcing, and how strong buyer-supplier relationships rely on clear communication.

The day also included individual 1:1 meetings — a great opportunity for our members to practice their pitches and ask direct questions — plus plenty of time to network over tea, coffee, and some truly delicious cakes from The Finest Cake Company. ☕🍰
