20th January 2022
The Produced in Kent store in Bluewater opened in late October 2021.
Initially with 9 brands. There was such a positive response from shoppers that several new brand ranges were introduced in the weeks before Christmas.
It was great to see a new audience discovering some of the amazing brands produced in the county and learning more about Produced in Kent and its members. In store staff helped customers put together their own hampers, choose presents and treat themselves.
It was an amazingly busy period and showed just how much interest there is in local food and drink. We are now busy planning lots of in store activities and tastings for 2022 and hope to introduce yet more brands to the Bluewater shoppers. If you haven't popped in yet, come in and say hello the staff will be delighted to tell you all about the local products and producers.
Keep an eye out for the tasting schedule and a special Bluewater give away coming this spring!
