Kent Food Hub & Docker Bakery Yuletide Festival

A Festive Winter Gathering

Docker Bakery, Park Farm Road, Folkestone, UK

The Yuletide Festival promises to encapsulate the warmth of the season, spotlighting the finest in local produce and artistry. Co-owner of Docker Bakery, Wes Burden, shares:

“There’s something special about winter – the long dark nights, the cosy, warming flavours, and the chance to gather and celebrate. We’re excited to open our doors and make this season memorable with our community and the incredible producers among us.”

Building on its reputation for seasonal community celebrations, Docker Bakery and Kent Food Hubs have curated an engaging day for all ages. Guests can enjoy offerings ranging from craft beers by Docker Brewery and artisan pizzas by Alkham Valley Pizza to a local producers’ market, children’s workshops, and live performances by Gumboots Reggae Band and Liberty.

A New Christmas Product Range Exclusively in December

As part of the festivities, Docker Bakery is launching its biggest product expansion yet with 12 new plant-based treats made from locally sourced ingredients wherever possible.

“Our aim was to create something special for December, something more inclusive so even more people can enjoy what we offer,” Burden notes.

Highlights include:

● Mince Pies (crafted with shortcrust pastry using local Hinxhill heritage wheat and mincemeat matured in Nightingale Cider)

● Stollen (£1 from each sale goes to The Respite Association)

● Hazelnut Babka

● Chocolate Orange Cruffins

● Gingerbread Lattes, Orange Hot Chocolate, and Mint Hot Chocolate

● Cranberry & Walnut Sourdough

● Stuffing and Apple Focaccia
