With the summer drawing to a close, Macknade is celebrating its place at the heart of the Kent community with a final summer party, taking place in the Food Village on Saturday September 7th.

Kicking off at midday, there is plenty to keep the whole family entertained, including live music, tastings & masterclasses, as well as children’s activities and games.

The live music starts at 3pm with GYPSKAZZ performing a unique blend of gypsy jazz, Eastern European gypsy music, ska and more. Then PROJECT F promises to keep you up on your feet into the night with a high-energy six-piece performance of funky soul covers from 6pm.

There’ll be tastings & masterclasses from Macknade’s top suppliers throughout the day and lawn games & activities certain to keep the little ones occupied.

The Macknade Kitchen will also be open with a fantastic line up of dishes including wood-fired Neapolitan pizzas and pasture-fed burgers, as well as food & drink from the resident Food Village traders: Al Taco, The Little Katsu Kitchen, Mamie’s Crepes, Time & Tide and Wildbox.

The event is free to attend and guests can drop in at any time from 12-8pm. Parking is available on-site, or it’s only a short 15 minute walk from Faversham station.
