DIY Wedding Flowers with Blooming Green
If you’ve chosen to grow your own flowers or pick from our plot for your wedding, this course is the perfect accompaniment.

Saturday 14th September, morning & afternoon
Part 1: Our experienced florists will talk you through choosing & conditioning your flowers, demonstrate and guide you in creating a posy using the ‘spiralling’ stem technique, tying-off and attaching ribbons. You will learn to tape and wire flowers and foliage, an essential skill, to create beautiful buttonholes and corsages.
Part 2: Focusing on flowers for your wedding venue. We will talk you through ideas and techniques for pew ends, table centrepieces and discuss how to create a ‘tablescape’. We finish by demo-ing a foam and moss-free garland.
