Be introduced to 6 fabulous wines from award winning English vineyards. The tasting session will be hosted by Clive Barlow MW and will showcase some of the finest English wines. Split into three distinct groups, you will taste 2 Sparkling Wines, 2 Bacchus Wines and 2 Chardonnay Wines, reflecting the true diversity of English wines.
We have an award-winning sparkling rosé from Woodchurch, WineGB's (2020) Best Classic Cuvée from Ashling Park, West Sussex, 2 new Chardonnay's, including Hattingley Valley in Hampshire and a first Chardonnay from the impressive newcomer, Heppington vineyard. And, of course, 2 Bacchus wines, including IEAW Gold medal winner, Whitehall vineyard and, local to Canterbury, the CB Bacchus.
Clive Barlow is one of just over 400 Masters of Wine in the world and is vastly experienced at hosting wine tasting events. He is a panel chair at the International Wine Challenge, was a senior judge at the Decanter Awards, founded the Canterbury Wine Festival and Chair of Education at the Institute of Masters of Wine.
