Canterbury Heritage Expo
The Canterbury Society’s Heritage ‘EXPO’ aims to celebrate the range of organisations and businesses in the Canterbury District who work in the Heritage sectors and to promote the diverse range of volunteering, employment, apprenticeship and training opportunities they offer to residents and students.
Westgate Hall, Westgate Hall Road, Canterbury, UK
This event will see the heritage sectors in Canterbury come together for the first time in one location to show what they do and what opportunities they can offer to all. There will be a programme of speakers throughout the day and 30+ stalls around the hall where you can chat to stallholders and find out what services they offer and what opportunities they could offer you. You may even be inspired to consider working or volunteering in the heritage sector looking after our historic places, landscapes and heritage.
So, come along and join in the ‘buzz’ at the Westgate Hall and be inspired by the range of things going on in Canterbury which you may not have known about but which interest you or offer you opportunities to get involved. This will be the biggest event in the Canterbury Society’s calendar for 2024 – so join in the fun and you may be surprised at what you discover!
